Holly is an experienced filmmaker who combines archive with a contemporary cinematic approach to tell unique personal stories. She has made documentaries for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery and UKTV History. Credits include: “The Tie That Binds” (BBC) a film about the intrigue of family secrets, “Pauline, Sheila and Joan” for BBC (nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for best documentary), “Recycled History of Recycling” for C4 (supported by Britdoc) and music documentaries about The Rolling Stones (BBC) and Elton John. Holly was selected for Emerging Visions, a program honoring 25 breakout filmmakers hosted by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Independent Feature Project, as part of the New York Film Festival.
Claire ThomasSenior Producer
Claire is a highly experienced producer who has worked in on a wide variety of flagship shows for ITV's entertainment department, including Star Lives, The Vault, Family Fortunes and The Paul O’Grady Show. While at ITV, Claire also produced the Rank film biography series in conjunction with the Restoration Project. She has worked on live events including the Evening Standard Film and Theatre Awards, and the London Food and Drink Awards. As a freelance producer Claire has also delivered documentaries for Five and A&E Network and factual entertainment and comedy series for Sky, working with a wide range of UK and international on-screen talent.
Matt HaleEditor & DOP
Matt is an experienced editor and DP with 15 years industry experience. His DP credits include short fiction, documentaries and factual series. As an editor, Matt has cut a variety of single docs, series and specials in music, history and lifestyle programming. In addition to his corporate and feature documentary work with Hark Pictures, his credits include The Tie That Binds and Pauline, Sheila and Joan for the BBC, The Real James Dean for Ovation, Bob Dylan: Phenomenon, Nirvana Videography and a host of military history series for PBS, History Channel and Discovery. Matt’s short fiction film First Bout screened at several festivals.
